Tomato Recipe Cook-off
As part of the bigger and better Tomatofest 2008, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County is coordinating a Tomato Recipe Cook-off for amateur chefs who want to showcase their favorite recipes, using fresh tomatoes.
Recipes submitted to the Tomato Recipe Cookoff must include fresh tomatoes as a major ingredient. The nutrition program at Cooperative Extension will select 8 recipes to be prepared by contestants in their licensed, commercial kitchen and judged by a panel of tasters on August 25. Prizes for the winning recipes will be awarded at TomatoFest.
1st Prize — $200 Gift Certificate - NY Wine & Culinary Center
